Power in 10 minutes: Nicki gets you sweating with the Everjump workout
If you think a short workout won't help, you haven't experienced Nicki yet! The passionate personal trainer and group fitness coach from Stuttgart has developed an intensive 10-minute skipping rope workout for Everjump - and it's quite something.
Skipping rope workout in the apartment: What you should check before buying
Yes, an effective skipping rope workout is also possible in a rented apartment without any problems and without conflicts with neighbors if four requirements are met: a ceiling height of at least 2.45 to 2.50 m, a free training area of 2 × 2 m, an effective impact noise reduction via the dampening Evermat as well as the use heavier, PVC-coated ropes from 125g or ropeless swing ropes instead of undamped, bare steel speed ropes.
Important for indoor athletes: Thin wire speed ropes whip loudly on the floor and produce harsh clicking noises. Weighted Everjump ropes swing more controlled due to their own mass and hit the Evermat almost silently. For particularly low ceilings, rope-free swing ropes offer maximum training intensity with zero contact with the ceiling.
With her sporting background, Nicki knows exactly what is important: She discovered her love of sport at the age of 5, and later combined her knowledge from her fitness economics studies with her many years of experience as a trainer and athlete.
Her Everjump workout in German is short, sweet and effective - perfect for everyone, who have little time but still want to give everything. With a lot of energy and a smile, she motivates you through every round and shows how you can really achieve something with fun and targeted training.
A real energy boost for in between - thanks Nicki!

Everjump rope variants and floor protection in an indoor comparison
Overview of the recommended minimum dimensions, noise levels and protective properties for indoor skipping rope training Clearance:
| Variant | Material | Weight | Minimum area | Ceiling height | Floor protection | Noise level |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 125g Base | Steel core with PVC coating | 125 g | 2.0 × 2.0 m | from 2.45 m | Evermat recommended | 58-60 dB(A)* |
| 225g Cardio | Damping full PVC | 225 g | 2.0 × 2.0 m | from 2.50 m | Evermat strongly recommended | 59-61 dB(A)* |
| 325g Shape | Reinforced High-performance polymer | 325 g | 2.2 × 2.2 m | from 2.50 m | Evermat required | 60-62 dB(A)* |
| Swing ropes (ropeless) | Shortened rope ends with rotation weights | 125-325 g | 1.2 × 1.2 m | No minimum height (from 2.10 m) | No ground contact | < 50 dB(A) (almost silent) |
| Evermat Skipping rope mat | Cushioning foam with anti-slip structure | approx. 2.5kg | 1.4 × 0.9 m (footprint) | Neutral (flat profile) | 100% protection for hard floors | Insulates impact sound by up to 16 dB(A) |
* Measured with Evermat as a dampening base. Without a mat, the peak values are 72-75 dB(A).
Documented acoustic measurement protocol: volume test in the living room
In order to objectively assess the actual noise pollution for neighbors during an indoor workout, standardized sound level measurements were carried out under real apartment conditions:
Result of the sound level measurement:
Conclusion: The Evermat dampens the sound pressure by up to 16 dB(A) and effectively eliminates low-frequency impact noise. This means that the workout remains completely safe for neighbors in the next room or on the floors below, even in noisy rental apartments.
